Violence

Violence manifests itself in unexpected ways,

disguised in fake smiles and foolish excuses.

You ask for my consent because you want

to commit one beautifully planned crime.

My greatest asset and right is the space in which

I exist and breathe and think.

If I betray myself to please you,

I will soon be recalling those moments of innocence.
