Black feathers

Black feathers cover my heart,
 There is a void that no one else fills.
 
 Sometimes you know how the
 the journey ends before it even begins.
 
 It is human to feel hurt
 and perfectly fine to move on,
 
 sweet disappointment is my friend,
 one that is honest, caring and strong.
